The best 9 days

Day 1: Arrive in San Jose. Spend the afternoon Relaxing by the poolside or taking a walk in the lovely gardens to recuperate from your long day of travel. If you feel like getting some exercise, there are lighted tennis courts available to you at the hotel. (Dinner and Breakfast included)

Day 2 & 3: Travel to Tortuguero national park. Hotel located on the canal. The area boasts 320 bird species, including Tiger Herons, Agami Herons, White-fronted Nunbird, and all six species of Kingfishers belonging to the Americas. Along with birds, we may also see sloths, cayman, iguanas, poison-dart frogs, fresh-water turtles, basilisk lizards, the Honduran White tent-making bats, and three species of monkeys that frequent the banks. You can venture out along the beach to look for the Green Sea Turtles, who come up to nest June-October. The Giant Leatherback Turtles nest on the Tortuguero beaches from mid-February to July, while the Hawksbill turtles are also nesting there during July. (meals, boat tour & night turtle tour included)

Day 4 & 5: Travel to Arenal. Stay at one of the areas finest hotels with views of the fiery volcano. You will also have full access to one of the most amazing hot springs I have ever seen. With the weather on our side, you will take in spectacular night views of the volcano with red lava streaming down its peak. Arenal is also known for great fishing and one of the world's best wind surfing locations. (breakfast and full access to Tabacon Resort included).

Day 6 & 7: Visit Tamarindo one of Guanacaste’s best beaches. Beach!!! Relax!!! Enough said. (breakfast included)

Day 8: Travel back to San Jose area. (Dinner and Breakfast included)

Day 9: Fly home.
