Our Spanish and Cultural Immersion Tours
are a wonderful mix of intensive language
study, eco-education and fulfilling
cultural experiences. It is our goal to
teach you the Spanish language through
a combination of immersion teaching
techniques centered around the
"Communication Method" and provide you with
the opportunity to immerse your self in
the Costa Rican culture and the country's
ecologically rich environment.
Our trips begin with immersion Spanish classes while living with a family in the "Central Valley". Homestays are regarded as the most effective way to put into practice the Spanish you learn in the classroom. Living with a family who speaks no English, in combination with intensive study, provides a wholly integrated exposure to both the language and the culture. During your stay in the "Central Valley" you will explore nearby mountains and volcanoes as you gain familiarity with Spanish language and local customs. You spend the remainder of your trip exploring different regions and ecological habitats, while meeting interesting people and practicing your Spanish.
All language professors on our trip have advanced university degrees and teaching certification. Click here for more info on teacher qualifications.
